Get pumped! The search for the perfect soap pump. Regular readers may recall my soap obsession that I previously talked about
here and
here. A few of you asked about pumps. Well I like those too, especially in the kitchen and laundry room. I have an integrated polished nickel pump by the kitchen faucet and always have a pump on the mud sink. And, recently I put one in our power room. I think the key is finding one that you really like and can refill, including the plastic versions! Otherwise, it's a lot of extra waste winding up in the land fills. Try to opt for the eco-smart pouches when you need to refill your pump!

Very nice! I am obsessed with the foaming soaps which unfortunatley can't be put in a regular dispenser :( That is one of my few "non-green" guilty pleasures but I can't seem to find a soap I like as much to replace it, shhh, don't tell! *Amy
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!! I have soap pumps at all of the baths, kitchen etc. Not as lovely as your choices though!!

I have Savon de Marseilles bottles in just about every room, and I refill them with Dr. Bronner's lavendar soap.
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for gorgeous packaging and these are all great options...as always, love the Savon de Marseille.
ReplyDeleteIt can be hard to find a soap pump that's not an eye sore and you've done a beautiful job of hunting the best ones down!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for a while...great stuff! :)
We have pumps at every sink - bar soaps get so sloppy. Love the more contemporary looks and the Savons de Marseille smell so delicious!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices! I love my Compagnie de Provence glass soap pump. Have a terrific week!xx
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty obsessed with the Savons de marseille, like the Buzz! I coordinate the colors to the season!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great obsession. I've keeping my eye out for pumps that fit a few cork topped glass bottles I have. It's so great for us lazy or always in a hurry types, for lotion as well as soap.
ReplyDeleteI definitely believe that having a nice soap in your bathroom makes all the difference! We have the Loccitane soap you featured here in Verbena, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit to being a devotee of L'Occitane liquid soap.
ReplyDeleteHoneysuckle was my favourite, but I don't think they make that anymore, so now I choose Lavender.
Great styles! We have a glass-style pump in our kitchen but thinking that the bathrooms should have some as well. The bars are really messy and I don't think last as long as liquid soap.

Love the cherry bomb one! I always have luck at the Container Store finding soap containers. They just give that finishing touch to a room.
ReplyDeleteI am so partial to pump soap, it appeals to the germa phobe in me! :) Love that Savon, we use it here as well! The others are all great options, thanks!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love the perfect powder room one and the traditional pharmacy pump! What great options!

Good tip, and some great ones to choose from here. Love the first one and the one with the French label.
ReplyDeleteI have a HUGE obsession with soap dispensers, too! I adore these!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore these soap dispensers - Prefer them in glass bottles rather than plastic, though. I adore the timeless marble one;-)
