You know things are bad when you see this...
HILARIOUS! At least it's sunny out, and if you're out of the wind and in the sun, it's quite nice. Got 2 guys to dig out the car for $20 each. Side walk is pretty clear. I am pretty happy.
ReplyDeleteVery funny!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW, we out here in New Mexico, have had a very snowy winter the only difference is that it is sunny all most every day here so it feels warmner here than the east in the winter...
When it melts you will have mud on every thing!!!!
We love when we get any moisture out west as snow fall means good water for the outside world and for the replenishing of the large bodies of water that supply our water for drinking and bathing.... So, just plan ahead and stay home a lot and enjoy the hibernation that most of us have forgotten!!!!
I cannot believe how much snow the entire Mid-Atlantic got....I hope y'all are staying warm!
ReplyDeleteHey There - just responding to your comment on pure style. In my province an interior designer is responsible for obtaining construction permits and requires a stamp (like architects) to get this. We get the stamp by being a registered interior designer. We are also responsible for ALL interior construction, including new walls, interior windows, dropped ceilings etc. We are interior architects. It may be difference where you live?

Hi MG,
ReplyDeleteYes, you are correct. We don't have the same criteria here now...but this whole business is getting more challenging, so anything is possible in the future. For me personally I stick to what I know, but continually read and ask questions of those much more informed, in order to further educate myself.
I always appreciate good feedback, so thank you so much for taking the time to comment!
Heavy snowfall right now in Dallas. I hope it does not come your way in a day or two. We are supposed to get up to 10 inches, unheard of in these parts! I feel for you my cousin is in Virginia. Love the snowman!
ReplyDeleteYou made my day with this post. I am so sick of being homebound with my 20 month old. I told my husband we WILL make it to her music class tomorrow Am if it is open. We paid some guys $60 to shovel our driveway and a tiny path to our front door---our shovel cracked yesterday...ugh. I swear if I gain a lb I won't be able to fit through the path...it is up to my waist. I am so done with winter!
ReplyDeletehaha - thats seriously how I've felt lately! UGH
ReplyDeleteThat made me laugh out loud! Remind me why I do not live in Arizona?!
ReplyDeleteToo, too funny!!And it's only mid February!
ReplyDeleteSo funny!! We are far from snow in this town (which is where it should be right now)
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, it's freezing way down here in New Orleans, too. It's been sleeting all day and we were forced to cancel 3 parades tonight. Mardi Gras is very cold wet and soggy this year. :( But our hearts are still warm. ;)
ReplyDeleteCute pic. I know you guys are all really sick of the snow by now. Hopefully spring is right around the corner. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeletehahahah hysterical!!! oh my goodness!!
ReplyDeleteAnd also I really appreciate your & Mg's dialogue. I hope I didn't sound harsh, but I know that' it's a debate that can go on & on and really didn't want to have it be the focus of the post, so I really do appreciate you both being so great. And you very easily explained what my sleep-deprived brain couldn't at the time! :)
xoxo,
lauren
Hysterical! I would be sick of snow too!
ReplyDeleteHehehe thats funny. We have been getting a lot of snow this year too but not THAT much!
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny - I do feel for you all - up here in Boston we are set up for the snow and used to it, but I can not image how overwhelming it must be where you are. Hang in there - (no pun intended!) lol

That is just the cutest and funniest picture! Sorry bout all the snow...that is why we live in AZ now! Hope you have a fairly warm and sunny Valentines day!
ReplyDeleteIf the hanging don't kill it, I do have a gun...hahaha
ReplyDeleteThis is hysterical, someone has quite a sense of humor, love it. Sorry I am a Calif girl and we have 65 degrees today. But we will be sweltering in the summer and you will be cooler so it evens out in the end, I just think you have gotten more than enough, thankyou very much. Kathysue
ReplyDeleteAs a New Yorker, this is totally hilarious...twisted, but very funny all the same!
ReplyDeleteLOL, that is great! I hope it gets better soon. Have a great wknd.
ReplyDeleteThat is funny, hope lots of sun is coming your way!
ReplyDeleteI could have sworn I left you a message...but....we had 4 inches yesterday and it's melting now....ATL is certainly not used to this and the 'road crews' have to come out of no where!
ReplyDeletePut your feet up, sit by the fire and drink champagne!
xx
I am so glad this gave everyone a good laugh!
ReplyDeleteBayou Contessa, I am so sorry about the parades...
Lauren, you are most welcome.
Annechovie, with more snow due here Monday night...excellent advice!!!
This literally just cracked me up, thank you, I really needed it! :) I feel for you guys up there (I lived there for many years and still come up that way) and I can not believe how buried you guys are. Everyone must be so over it (clearly). :) Hang in there, spring is on it's way. xo
