Perhaps tomorrow for "Cyber Monday" you will be shopping for gifts and your list calls for something useful...but not ordinary. Nutcracker tools come in all shapes and sizes. Some are quite decorative, and some are just fun!
|
From West Elm. A portion of the proceeds of each sale goes to St. Jude's.
|
|
The rocket cracker. For the gadget obsessed. |
|
I've never seen a quacker cracker?
|
|
Olive wood from Chef's Gadgets. Unique and compact. |
|
John Deere. For the big boy in your life.
|
|
From Norpro. For anyone on your list who's a bit uh...squirrely!
|
|
Fletcher from Ralph Lauren. Wonder if he can fetch a nut too? |
|
The Hillary. A 21st century classic nut buster!!! |
I plan on buying one of these...care to guess which one? Which is your favorite?
I like the Ralph Lauren dog one. Those are some unique crackers.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, the Ralph Lauren dog one is unique.
ReplyDeleteHugs from Brasil.

I adore the doggie from Ralph Lauren...so classic and yet, whimsical. What a fun round up!
ReplyDeleteThese are too cute! I have one very similar to the squirrel, but the dog one is my favorite! My son would like the tractor one and my husband would like the gadget one! And I love that part of the proceeds from the West Elm one goes to a good cause. I'm "hoping" that is the one your are buying, and not the last one! ;-)
ReplyDeleteKat :)
I love nutcrackers - the perfect combination of decorative and practical but OMG - I think I may have to get the Hillary for my husband - too funny!!
ReplyDeleteThe Hillary one...hilarious, and like Quintessence, thinking I need to get this for my husband! :) Great round up!
ReplyDeletelove these! the white one is great...maybe this year a spray of silver is in order for my cheaper crackers...hmmm...thanks
ReplyDeleteBest,
Michelle
I love all of these. The Hilary one is hilarious. I love the dog one. Great collection of nutcrackers. P.S. Thanks for confirming the nuts on the table was yours so I could properly credit you :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to learn
ReplyDeleteabout your advent
tradition and now
to see these new
nutcracker ideas!
I would most definitely
opt for Rufus, although
I used to collect
squirrels, so I might
have to toss a coin!
My kids still put their
shoes out for St. Nick's
Eve and like you, it gets
harder to come up with
new ideas. Always, they
get an ornament for their
trees {in their rooms} and
a bag of chocolate gold
coins. Then something fun
or silly. Thanks for the
reminder as I believe that
night is next weekend!
xx Suzanne
OMG love the Hilary by far the best... Fay
ReplyDeleteI have a fondness for squirrels because my mom has them all over her home, so I pick the squirrel and next Hillary ;).
ReplyDeleteOMG HAVE to get the Hilary nut buster!!hahaha
ReplyDeleteOne sign of Christmas at StoneGable is a big wooden bowl filled with assorted nuts to crack. I just have a couple of simple nut crackers, but these are fabulous! I love the squirrel and the dog. Poor Hilary... what a play on words!
ReplyDeleteYvonne
I have a little Nutcracker collection - the whimsical ones from the ballet, which I'm taking my boys to see on Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI love the first ones that benefit St Jude's!
